Notts Police Pipe Band or NPPB for short. Whilst
bearing the name and informal support of the
Nottinghamshire Police, and the support of the Chief
Constable in particular, the Pipe Band is actually
composed mainly of civilians and is independent of the
Police Authority.
That said, the band is happy and
proud to act as a public relations unit for
Nottinghamshire Police whenever possible upon their
request.
We are currently graded 4B within the structure of the
Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association.
The band practises on Monday and Thursday evenings 7pm
- 10pm at Mellish Rugby Club, Mapperley Plains,
