Dear all, please find attached a copy of the minutes from Saturdays AGM. If there are any questions concerning this please do let me know.
Please can I ask as the force cycling contact that these and any subsequent e-mails are distributed to your cycling colleagues in force.
In the next few weeks you should have an e-mail from your regional representative who will become your point of contact for all things PSUK Cycling related. It is hoped now we have a full compliment of regional reps were can begin to develop closer regional relationships to assist in events (participation and promotion), travel and improve the flow of information.
There are a few items of note from the AGM that I will elaborate on below.
ES National Road Race Championships 2011
We are looking for a force/region to promote this event in 2011. help and advise will be provided to the promoter. Any force or region interested in promoting this event should contact me directly. Kent have made a tentative offer but as yet no venue has been confirmed.
USPE Cycling Championships 2016
It was agreed at the AGM that the UK would offer a bid to the USPE to host the European Championships in 2016. Therefore we are looking for a force/region to put forward a bid to stage this very prestigious event. All bids to become the host here in the UK need to be submitted prior to the next AGM - date will be communicated. This provides around 12 months to identify your courses, HQ, accommodation and to engage with local authorities, Police, BC Region and possible sponsors etc.

Moore Large PSUK Cycling Discount Scheme
Also attached is an order form for the PSUK Cycling Discount Scheme. This scheme is brought to us by Moore Large Ltd one of the largest cycling distributors in the UK. They carry brands such as Lake, Limar, Kenda, Basso, Tifosi, Michelin, to name but a few. In the next few weeks I will be sending out a URL to view the products but in the mean time if you go to www.moorelarge.co.uk you can get a flavour for the products available.

- 1. Check out the website and decide what you would like to buy
- 2. Complete the attached order form and e-mail to Carl Robinson - all orders have to be signed off by CR
- 3. You will receive an e-mail back confirming the cost plus postage
- 4. Confirm your order and it will be collected from the warehouse on Thursday or Friday and then posted out to you asap
Please do not contact the company or suppliers direct or offer this discount to anyone outside of PSUK Cycling. This will be treated as a breach of the rules and you will have your discount withdrawn - don't be greedy and spoil it for everyone else is the message and you will enjoy discounts of up to 40% off most items.
As other offers and discounts become available from additional suppliers these will be sent to your regional reps for distribution.
PSUK Cycling is developing and has gone from strength to strength over the past few years. On behalf of the management team may I pass on my thanks for your efforts and support keep up the good work in your forces and regions and I look forward to seeing many of you competing or helping at the PSUK events in 2010.
