Report re May's activities. Fly fishing Report May
On 8th April Notts police Fly fishing club fished there first match of the season at Toft Newton Reservoir, Nr Market Rasen. 15 members attended and had an excellent day although the weather was changeable with occasional heavy rain and sleet showers. Virtually everybody caught fish with most taking their limit of 6 fish on everything from floating line with Buzzers and Diawl Bach's to Boobys on a sinking line.
Results were as follows:
1. Dave Stanford with 19lb 1oz.
2. Roger Walker with 18lb.7oz including the magnificent fish in the picture.
3. Pete Hind with 15lb 6oz

We fish both Bank and boat matches throughout the season at various top venues in the midlands. You don't have to be an experienced fly fisher to have an excellent day out with a friendly group of people who will all help you to catch fish. Next Match on Monday 21st April at Draycote Reservoir, Nr Rugby.
