DISCOUNTED HOLIDAYS IN TURKEY
Having had discussions with Bougainville travel, they can offer your members three tailor made holidays in Turkey. I have been asked to write to you because of my association with the Police Service but any bookings, monies, etc. would of course go through the company and receipted.
Attached in PDF format are the itineraries offered with the prices outlined at the end. The prices represent approximately a 30% discount on normal pricing as you will be dealing directly with Bougainville Travel and no 'Middle Man' is involved.
The three itineraries are as follows;
Highlights of Turkey (Pdf)
A 15 day trip in an air conditioned coach that takes in a vast amount of sights.
For all holidays mentioned there is a minimum and maximum amount of people that can go. This trip has a minimum of 22 and a maximum of 24 places. It can be taken at all times of the year apart from British school holiday times. (15th July- 31st August. Week including the last Monday in May and week including nearest to 20th October).
Multi Activity Week (Pdf)
An 8 day holiday that is for the adventurous and physically fit. It is well worth doing, I have taken part in most of these activities and have had a lot of fun.
The minimum is 14 and maximum 16 people. As before, the school holiday times cannot be accommodated.
Turquoise coast week (Pdf)
Another 8 day holiday that mixes and matches activities and sight seeing, not as high impact as the multi activity week but a lot of fun and very interesting for members who would like to view Turkish antiquity.
The minimum for this is 14 and maximum 16, same applies for school holiday times.
Of course, the PDF attachments explain in detail what is included.
As the travel company is Turkish bonded, it cannot organise flights from the U.K. However, many charter companies have regular slots into Turkish airports, (Thomas Cook, Eastjet and others). The seats are reasonably priced, especially if booked in advance. As a suggestion, it may be appropriate to have a member organise a trip on behalf of others.
If you would like to know more about Bougainville Travel may I suggest you visit the following site
www.kas-adventure.travel.com If you click on the left hand side column, the owner Philip Buckley has written a description.
If you have any questions please contact me and I will reply as soon as possible.
Thank you for your interest and I sincerely hope your members take up this offer to see what a beautiful country Turkey is.
Best regards
John Fuller (e-mail link)

I am a paramedic at Falkirk Ambulance Station and the organiser of the 999 Eco Adventure race. The race is open to staff from UK Emergency Services including Police, Fire, Ambulance, Coastguard/RNLI and Mountain Rescue. Competitors participate in trail running, mountain biking and canoeing and have the choice of entering one of three races according to their ability. This year the 999 Eco Adventure will take place on 21st August 2010 in the Lake District, Cumbria.
The main objective of the event is to promote positive interaction between Emergency Service staff and to enhance the corporate relationships between the Services. Previous races have proved a great success and have generated significant interest throughout all five emergency services. Our race website is located at www.ecoadventurerace.com should anyone wish further information.
I would be obliged if you could please forward this information to your police officers and/or print the attached race flyer for display on your staff notice-boards.
Kind regards
Malcolm Auchie
Race Director

Ionian Yacht Charters
Please excuse the unsolicited mail, but we have a very good link with the ‘Devon and Cornwall Police Sailing Association’ and we would be pleased to extend this to other forces. I am inquiring as whether any consideration could be given to us having a link on your web site or advertising in news letters.
Our rates for Police Sailing Associations are 20% less than our list price, and our Yachts and Service are particularly well maintained.
If you have any queries what so ever please do not hesitate to contact us.
